Nkosi is a freelance writer, director and cinematographer, he wrote, directed, and edited his first short film, Return To Sender, which earned him a Best First Time Director award at Indie Short Fest and was an official selection at Chicago Indie Film Awards, New York Istanbul Short Film Festival, WorldFest Houston Int'l Film Festival, and others.
In 2019, Nkosi’s first feature-length screenplay, How Far We’ve Come, took home second place in Stage 32’s nationwide Feature Drama Screenwriting Contest and is currently in development.
Nkosi was the cinematographer, additional editor, and film emulation FX artist on the Muhammad Ali and Malcolm X biopic-inspired film, Honorable. (2022).
